When Mien founder and designer Lisa Hsieh became pregnant with her first son, she quickly became frustrated by maternity wear that lacked quality and modern style. With over a decade of experience as an apparel designer, Lisa’s frustration motivated her to create a small collection of pieces intended to fit bodies not just for mothers and pregnant folks, but for all busy people seeking a more sustainable, comfortable, low maintenance, and flattering wardrobe for our ever-changing bodies. Working with the best local fabric mills, sewing houses, and dye houses in Los Angeles, Mien is now a fully fleshed out brand that makes clothes to celebrate modern, busy, multi-faceted people in all chapters of life without sacrificing the health of our planet while doing so.
