Betsy & Iya® started in 2008 in a coffeeshop with a notebook, a bright red pencil, and nothing to lose.

Today, we’re more than just jewelry. We’re more than this website. We’re a brick and mortar shop snuggled down in our home of Portland, OR. It is here that we design and make it all.

We're for the ones who drink way too much coffee, and laugh a little too loud in fancy restaurants. Who know how to say "You ain't seen nothing yet" in seven languages, and would rather be skinny dipping at midnight. We're for her and for him and for them, and for all who love themselves, and each other, exactly how they are.

Betsy & Iya began in 2008 with a single maker, a few tools, and a belief that jewelry could connect people. What started at one bench grew into a studio built on care, creativity, and community.

Every hammer strike, solder seam, and polish pass happens right here in our Portland studio. Our team of makers brings designs to life with care and precision because jewelry should honor the hands that make it and the humans who wear it.
