We can hardly believe that Christmas is only 6 days away! Where does the time go?! Despite the icy week we had in Portland, we’re managing to stay super busy around here- especially our shipping team! Take a sneak peek into betsy & iya’s shipping department and meet the people responsible for getting your jewelry to your front door quickly and safely!
Everyone, meet Tess! You can find her in our shipping loft three days a week pulling, packing and organizing all of your online orders.
Once an order comes in, it gets sent up to Tess. She addresses any special requests that may come in with an order and then pulls the items ordered from our backstock. She double and triple checks that the order is being fulfilled correctly and then packages up each item in our signature packaging. (Have you guys noticed that it’s changed?! So cute!)
That's me! I help with shipping on Tess' days off, and when it's busy around the holidays. :)
Each tin and/or kraft box is then carefully wrapped up and placed in the appropriate sized box. After packages are weighed and measured, names and addresses are verified and labels are printed! After a noisy time spent taping, the boxes are walked over to the post office. We’re super lucky. We have one across the street!
