Today, her designs are hand thrown by a team of four people in Hood River, OR.

Wolf Ceramics

Sarah Wolf learned ceramics when she was in elementary school and then went on to study geochemistry, and eventually taught outdoor education. One thing was abundantly clear: her path always brought her back to the earth.

Returning to her time-honored hobby of ceramics and choosing to go to art school to hone her craft, Sarah took a leap of faith and started her own studio right here in Portland. As her business grew, she relocated the studio to Hood River.

Uniquely designed for daily use, Wolf Ceramics are an ode to the Pacific Northwest and simple living. Every piece within the collection is hand-thrown, trimmed, glazed, and fired by ceramicists who receive a living wage.
