Growing up under the open skies of rural Indiana, Heather Guidero drew everything in sight. A jewelry class at a community arts center sparked a new obsession, eventually leading her to RISD, Reinstein/Ross, and her own Providence studio in 2005. Today, Heather transforms her love of drawing into sculptural fine jewelry, working by hand in ethically sourced gold and silver to explore line, volume, and movement.

Heather finds inspiration in modernist design, fashion, and urban architecture. A lifelong love of drawing shapes her approach to jewelry, where strong lines, unexpected forms, and a sculptural point of view come together.
Heather’s pieces often begin on paper. She transforms graphic drawings into three-dimensional forms, exploring volume, movement, pattern, and the way a piece changes when it leaves the bench and meets the body.
At her Providence studio, Heather constructs and finishes each piece by hand. Sheet metal and wire are rolled, formed, soldered, and shaped into jewelry that carries the marks of a process she’s spent decades honing.
