In 2012, Dinadi creators Mirjam and Preston moved to Nepal. The people they met and their desire to bring about lasting change to developing communities led to the formation of Dinadi in 2016. Dinadi offers ethical employment to knitters in Nepal, providing them with numerous benefits they wouldn't otherwise have access to. From providing a full-time social worker to paying school tuitions, the list goes on and on, and we're ecstatic that such a fantastic company provides fantastically soft products that you'll fall in love with instantly.

What started with a move to Nepal in 2012 became Dinadi four years later. Mirjam and Preston built the company around a simple idea: make beautiful knitwear while creating meaningful, lasting employment in the community they had come to call home.
Dinadi’s hand knitters work from home on flexible schedules, with benefits that include education funding, retirement contributions, insurance, and access to a full-time social worker.
Who made your sweater? Dinadi wants you to know. Every hand-knit piece carries its knitter’s name on the label and their photo on the hangtag, putting the person behind each piece front and center.
