I am beyond overjoyed with how my rings turned out. I haven’t been able to wear my wedding ring for the last couple years because I’ve needed to get it resized. Unfortunately during the ice storm our house flooded, we got displaced and my wedding ring was stolen. 😔 Fortunately, I had my Grandmother’s diamond she passed down to me. I couldn’t wait to take it to Betsy to get a custom setting. The whole process was so enjoyable. She is such a lovely person. The communication was excellent. The space is so inviting and the other team members are wonderful to work with. When I saw my rings it truly took my breath away, and I got emotional. I know my Grandmother is smiling down seeing her stone in such a beautifully crafted piece of artistry. I can’t wait to pass my rings down to my daughter someday. Wow! I bought an item from this store online (I live in another state) that that was offered by lots of other vendors but I could never find in a brick and mortar store. I chose Betsy and Iya because I grew up in Portland and like to give small businesses a leg up when I can. Not only did the item arrive sooner than promised a few weeks ago, I just received a separate hand-written note of thanks from one of the staff. I 100% will be doing business with them again!

I am absolutely over the moon at the experience I had working with Betsy & Iya!! Not only did we work to do a custom wedding + engagement ring stack, but I’ve also purchased necklaces, earrings, and a dress at their store. After having a not-so-positive experience at another jeweler, Betsy and Barrie made us feel so heard, and created a design that ultimately blew us out of the water. They were very communicative and I would 12/10 recommend them to anyone who is looking to design a custom engagement/wedding ring.

Working with Barrie at Betsy & Iya on my custom wedding ring was an absolute breeze. At one point I think I told her, "This is a lot of fun!" From our first meeting, she completely understood what I wanted from my ring and perfectly nailed the design in the first round. She was friendly, personable, and communicative. We found Betsy and Iya years ago on a trip to see our daughter in Portland. They were still at their old "digs" and we found their work very creative. They were kind enough to give me a tour of the their workshop as I had interest in their metal work processes. Their jewlery is ARTWORK. Truly creative, very reasonably priced and just nice people! Each time we go to Portland REQUIRES a stop at Betsy and Iya. Love this place love their "stuff."

I first bought a ring from B&I when walking through the airport in Portland in early 2019. I loved it soooo much. I've been wearing that ring ever since. So when I wanted another ring this year, I checked out their site bc I knew I could find something that was high quality and fine craftsmanship while also being unique. I bought their Colima ring this time and I can't say enough. I'm going to be wearing this everyday too. It arrived in a cute box, well packaged and with a little care guide. Today, I received a handwritten letter from them, thanking me for my business. I feel like that's going above and beyond and I appreciate their efforts in connecting with their clients. My partner and I had our engagement ring set custom designed by Betsy and IT IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL RING SET I HAVE EVER SEEN. Betsy and her team were prompt, responsive, paid attention to detail, and most importantly, designed the ring of my dreams that is even more beautiful in person than I could have imagined. They worked with an heirloom stone I had and worked within my budget with ease. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else for custom jewelry design.

My fiancé and I could not be happier with the experience we had with Betsy & Iya. We got custom engagement rings designed and created, and the rings are stunning and so well coordinated to go with each other. I was nervous about the design process because I felt like I didn’t know exactly what I wanted (I’m not a very visually creative person), but Betsy managed to create 3 designs that each spoke to me and I ended up with a combination of 2 of them. I’m not a huge reviewer but I felt compelled to write a review for Betsy & Iya based on the exceptional Level of customer service I received when trying to get my wedding ring to fit. I was probably the most annoying customer ever, coming in at least 10 times, & they were so sweet & accommodating every time. I finally got some adjustment beads to keep it from sliding around & it fits like a dream now! Thanks again for all of your help!
