The lookbook for betsy & iya's latest collection, You + Me, pt. 2, is online, and we're delighted to share it with you. With this lookbook, Betsy was inspired to explore the journey of love–that transition from separate entities and careful choreography, to a relaxed union and effortless intonation. There's no magic formula or certain number of years it takes, but when you get there, you know. It's about trust, joy, laughter, silence, intimacy, solitude, support, and triumph.
Trust: leading when destination is unknown, assurance that no matter what you encounter you'll get through it together
Joy: not just smiles, but jumps. Leaps. Bounds. Limitless capacity for inviting moments of light and laughter
Silence: communicating entire conversations with the touch of a hand
Intimacy: an awareness beyond your own being. the care, pleasure, and health of another body becomes as important as your own

Triumph: emerging from the inevitable rough patches stronger than ever before
Every piece of betsy & iya jewelry tells a story. Sometimes, you might not even notice the subtle elements of story etched onto your earrings or hammered into your cuff, but I assure you, it's present. There's narration in the curves of metal, meaning in the repetition of shapes, and emotion in the use of contrasting materials. The visual representation of the story told by our jewelry is where a lookbook comes in, and just like every ring, cuff, earring, necklace, and bracelet, each betsy & iya lookbook is directed from concept to creation by Betsy.
