Oh, the places we go: Portland's Mississippi Street Fair
Posted on July 20, 2012
I had the pleasure of stalking Matt as he worked at the Mississippi Street Fair the other day.. and dang is he photogenic!
Charming the masses.
Everyone in Portland was there... I also asked Matt a few questions so that you and I can know how the day went!
Kelly: The first thing I noticed when I arrived at the fair was the heat wave -- did you get a pretty nice tan that day?
Matt: It was a BEAUTIFUL morning while we were setting up, and as the day went on I started to shed Mississippi layers. Bye cute scarf, goodbye new hat, I barely knew you simple white-T. I needed to cool down. By the end of the day I felt like a sweaty mess. I had a half tan from being under the tent.
K: What was the best part of your day?
M: I loved looking up the street and feeling like I was on a movie set. The wave of people stomping up and down Mississippi made me feel like every person in Portland was out.
K: What was the most popular b&i piece at the fair?
M: People could not get enough of our rings!
