Our necklace on Grimm!"]The rain is here. That defining Portland winter gloom slept in late this season and gave us beautiful days through mid-October, but it's finally here for good (or at least for the next 6+ months... sigh). Ask five Portlanders what they're doing today and four of them will mention the couch, TV, beer, or all three. What can I say, the rain brings out the coziest in us. And couch, beer, and TV was just where we were when we spotted our Talus necklace on the latest episode of NBC's Grimm! In the episode, actress Kate del Castillo played Valentina Espinosa, who wore the necklace throughout the caper and (NBD) basically saved the day by stopping a crazy ghost lady from drowning three kids at the stroke of midnight on Halloween at Kelly Point Park. Shwew! I'm pretty sure the necklace deserves a huge part of the credit...
Cracking the code with cat eyes and the Talus necklace! This episode was a double whammy for us, because it featured the St. John's bridge (which inspired one of our bridge cuffs), Cathedral Park, and Kelly Point Park--three gorgeous spots in our neighborhood. Top that off with our necklace on a balam (you can learn a lot from the internet), and that makes for a pretty great rainy Sunday on the couch. We're so thrilled to be one of the stops the good folks over at Grimm make when looking for jewelry for their show. We feel really honored. And the Grimm costumers picked the perfect necklace from our line for this character--fierce and edgy while still delicate and understated. It's perfect for a woman turns into a jaguar when she gets fired up...
like I said... fierce! The triangle necklace from Grimm is available for sale on our website or in our store. Click to take a closer look. ***Song of the moment: Giving up the Ghost, by DJ Shadow***
