Pirum Ruby ring
A perfect mix of elegant and audacious, this fair trade ruby ring makes a statement – specifically, a statement like those made by women like Ethel Merman or Bette Midler or Cardi B.
Most rubies on the market have been heat treated to remove their crystal inclusions and to alter the color by allowing more light to pass through. We're using untreated rubies in these rings. While traditional treated rubies are beautiful, we think the inclusions and color variations found in these natural rubies retains a uniqueness and a connection to the beauty of the earth that is missing in heat treated stones.
Due to Mother Nature’s whims, each ring’s stone will be unique. A range of examples for this piece may be found in the product photos.

We stand by our work and have taken great care to make a solid, long lasting beautiful piece of jewelry. That said, jewelry is not indestructible and extra care should be taken to ensure that your cherished piece remains in great condition for years to come. Stones and metal can become loose, chip, or crack through prolonged heat/cold exposure, contact with harsh chemicals, certain perfumes/lotions, chlorine, or knocking up against another hard surface (e.g. don't wear it while sledding or in the hot tub...); basically, when in doubt, remove your jewelry.
