Hey, what’s that stuff all over the sidewalks?

It happened. Portland bribed the sun. Every year about this time, the mayor sends an email out begging for contributions.
We all chip in and send a pillowcase full of dollar bills to the sun and the clouds. They split it 60/40 (no one is sure who gets the larger share) and give us something we’ve all needed for months. Warmth: sweet, sunny, warmth.

Fun shadow shots! Actually what happened was that Romeo and I just returned from the Big Island of Hawai’i and stashed some rays in our bags. At least that’s what I like to think;)
Thank you, Ronit! You should teach us how to do that, because the last time we came back from out of town sun, we were greeted by the rain and cold and we SWORE we’d stashed some rays in our bags…
