My love affair with Portland is never-ending; it feels like every day I am introduced to pockets of lush greenery, stark/industrial buildings, & quiet neighborhoods (these are a few of my favorite things, of course). This is made all the better when it is right around the corner, just waiting to be discovered. 
Today, Matt and I took a walk behind the betsy & iya brick-and-mortar shop and happened upon a thick forest of bamboo & trees-- my jaw dropped & my heart sang. Matt couldn't believe that I hadn't taken this pathway before, but I vowed to him that I would enjoy its offerings now that I knew it existed!
