There has been more than one occasion where Alyssa and I feel the need for an impromptu dance party in the middle of the floor with loud, happy music. I know I'm not alone in thinking that spontaneous dance parties are some of the best ways to let out stress and get excited. Well, a couple of days ago Alyssa & Lacey were looking mighty fine in their little black dresses so I figured let's dance it out to celebrate! Little did Alyssa and I know how hard it would be to get Lacey to participate... At first Lacey said she couldn't dance to Django Reinhardt playing in the background (and no, I am not talking about the latest Tarantino movie). Alyssa's subtle yet seductive invitation to Lacey
So Alyssa changed it to my current favorite party song, Blurred Lines by Robin Thicke, so she had no excuse! But she still wouldn't budge... We needed to loosen her up! Maybe if Alyssa starts dancing first Lacey will follow?
Then it clicked, Lacey loves ballet! It's one of the first things I learned about her. Surely some ballet warm-ups will get those feet moving and hips shaking. We'll start with first position. Move along quickly to fourth. And gracefully finish with fifth.
